Hamburger Casserole

Ingredients
  Hamburger rolls 12 (1 Dozen)
  Onion 1 Medium, finely chopped
  Sage 3 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted
  Egg 1
For instant potatoes
  Instant potatoes 4 Cup (64 tbs), prepared
  Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Bring to boil and add:
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Instant potatoes 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Rub hamburg rolls fine.
Add remaining ingredients.
Pack in 8 x 8" greased pyrex glass pan.
Put strips of bacon on top.
Set inside a larger pan which has water in it.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
When preparing for weddings and church suppers, we use this.
It makes 60 pieces - 4 rows - 15 slices per row.
