Cream Chicken Casserole

Whip up this delicious Cream Chicken Casserole that will have everyone reaching the bowl for seconds. This easy and simple recipe is something new to try for those special occasions and tastes fabulous to impress your guests!
Ingredients
  Fryers 8 Pound
  Flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Paprika 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dill weed 1 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pimento 1 Tablespoon
  Evaporated milk/Light cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Bouillon/1 cube dissolved in 1 cup hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Fresh lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) Using a knife, cut the fryers into serving size pieces
2) In a plastic zip lock bag, put the flour, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme, dill seeds and shake vigorously
3) Place the chicken pieces into the bag and shake till they are well coated
4) In a frying pan, add the shortening and fry the chicken pieces till browned evenly
5) Remove and keep aside, in the remaining shortening, sauté the onion lightly
6) Add the chopped pimento and add in the remainder flour mixture from the plastic bag
7) Add in the cream or evaporated milk and mix well
8) Add in the bouillon and the fresh lemon juice
9) In a casserole place the chicken pieces and pour the sauce over
10) Cover the dish with a lid and bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes at 325F

SERVING
11) Serve the chicken warm with some brioche
