Crispy-Topped Cauliflower Casserole
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|White wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|French fried onion rings||1⁄2 Can (5 oz)|
1)In a saucepan, add boiling water and cook for 15 minutes or just until tender. Drain.
2)In a small saucepan, heat butter and sauté flour. Add milk, wine, green pepper, onion and 1/2 cup water.
3)Cook until thickened, stir constantly.
4)Then, add almonds, salt and pepper.
5)Take a greased baking dish and spread cauliflower.
6)Pour the sauce and sprinkle cheese
7)Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
8)Spread onion rings and bake for 5 more minutes.
9)Serve crispy topped cauliflower casserole hot.
