1) Pre-heat the oven to 350°F/180°C/Gas 4.
2) In a colander, mix a little salt with cucumber and leave to drain for 20 minutes.
3) Take a baking dish and butter it. Layer the bottom with chopped onion, pepper and cucumber.
4) Place the sliced tomatoes on top of this layer. Line the cod steaks on top. Season with paprika, salt and pepper.
5) In a bowl, mix the cream and paprika and pour it over the fish.
6) Bake in oven for 25 minutes.
