Ingredients
  Lentils 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Bacon slices 2 , chopped
  Stewed tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (With Juice)
  Chinese five spice powder 1 Teaspoon
  Dried red pepper flakes 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Wash the lentils well and look out for any impurities.

MAKING
2.In a slow cooker, put lentils, bacon, tomatoes, Chinese five spice powder, red pepper flakes, onion and water.
3.Put the lid on and place the cooker on LOW heat for 7-8 hrs.

SERVING
4.Serve hot or cold.
