Traditional Egg Casserole

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Hard cooked eggs 6 , peeled and sliced quartered
  Crushed potato chips 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Bacon slices 12 , fried crisp and crumbled
Directions

In a large skillet, cook onion in butter until tender, but not brown.
Blend in flour.
Add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Add cheese; stir until melted.
Arrange half the egg slices in the bottom of a lightly greased 10 x 6 x 1-1/2-inch baking dish.
Cover with half the cheese sauce, half the potato chips and half the crumbled bacon.
Repeat layers.
Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
