Company Vegetable Casserole
|Frozen cut green beans||20 Ounce, cooked until barely tender, drained (2 Packages)|
|Canned bean sprouts||1 Pound, drained (1 Can)|
|Canned water chestnuts||4 Ounce, drained, sliced (1 Can)|
|Canned mushroom pieces||4 Ounce, drained|
|Cheese sauce||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Onion||1 Small, minced|
|Canned fried onion rings||3 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
Toss green beans lightly with bean sprouts, water chestnuts, and mushroom pieces.
Turn into a shallow casserole (about 2-quart size).
Combine cheese sauce with onion and spoon over vegetables.
Bake, uncovered, in a moderate oven (350°) for 25 minutes.
Top casserole with fried onion rings and bake for 10 minutes more.
Makes 6 servings.
