Beef Crust Casserole
|Lean ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Chopped onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Catsup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cream and mushroom soup||2 Can (20 oz)|
|Frozen peas and carrots||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Converted rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chow mein noodles||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine the beef, onions, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and catsup, then line a 2 1/2-quart casserole with the mixture.
Combine the soup, vegetables, rice, water and remaining salt and mix well.
Pour into the beef shell.
Bake in 350-degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Top with noodles and bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes longer.
