Beef Kraut Casserole

|Beef||1 1⁄2 Pound, ground|
|Rice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Sauerkraut||1 (canned, drained)|
Combine the beef, rice, onion, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.
Arrange alternate layers of the beef mixture and sauerkraut in casserole.
Add water to cover.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
