Beef And Pork Casserole
|Lean ground pork||1⁄2 Pound|
|Ground beef||1⁄2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Green pepper||1 Small, chopped|
|Canned tomatoes||20 Ounce (1 No.2 Can)|
|Chili powder||To Taste|
|Grated cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fine noodles||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
Brown the meats, onion, garlic and green pepper in a skillet.
Add tomatoes and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Add the salt, pepper, chili powder and 2/3 of the cheese.
Cook the noodles according to package directions and place in a buttered baking dish.
Top with the meat mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Chill for 2 hours.
Bake, covered, at 300 degrees for 45 minutes.
