Green Tomato Casserole

Ingredients
  Tomatoes 450 Gram, each washed and cut into 8 pieces (Raw)
  Onion 1 Large, chopped fine
  Green chillies 2 , slit
  Sliced garlic 1 Teaspoon
  Sambhar powder 1 Teaspoon
  Raw mango pickle masala 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric masala 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Parsi dhana jeera masala 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sesame seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pure ghee 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Chop the onion and place in a dekchi with pure ghee over a low flame. Add the sesame seeds, cumin and mustard seeds. Fry for 2 minutes. Add the powdered spices and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, sugar and salt, cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes over a very low fire. If you like, add half a cup of water to make a little gravy.
