Chicken Newburg Casserole

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 3 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Cream of chicken soup 1 Can (10 oz)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Diced cooked chicken 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Sherry 2 Tablespoon
  Shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Cook onion in butter until tender but not browned.
Mix with soup, milk, chicken, egg and sherry.
Spoon into 2 buttered individual casseroles or a 31-quart casserole and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Bake in a 400° F oven 20 minutes for individuals, 30 minutes for large dish, or until mixture is bubbly and cheese melted.
