Steak Pasta Casserole
|Sirloin steak||2 Pound (Tip / Round)|
|Minced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||3 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cooked noodles||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Freshly ground pepper||1 Dash|
|Light cream/Top milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Croutons||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cut meat into cubes and cook meat and onion in 2 tablespoons butter until lightly browned.
Add mushroom liquid, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
Discard bay leaf.
Add noodles, cream and remaining butter and pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle top with croutons and cheese.
Bake in a 325° F oven for 45 minutes.
