English Crab Casserole
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned crab meat||7 1⁄2 Ounce, drained and cut into 1-inch pieces|
|Cooked peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Hard-boiled eggs||5 , hardboiled|
|Lemon||1⁄2 , juiced|
|Bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Melt butter; blend in flour, salt, pepper and paprika; add milk slowly, stirring until smooth; add crab, peas, 4 sliced hard-boiled eggs and lemon juice.
Place mixture in a casserole; sprinkle with bread crumbs and dabs of butter.
Bake in a 350° oven until top browns and mixture is heated.
Garnish with rest of egg slices and lemon slices.
