Denver Lamb Casserole
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Lamb stew meat||1 1⁄2 Pound, cubed|
|Cubed potatoes||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Onions||4 Medium, sliced|
|Bay leaf||1 , crushed|
|Ground pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Bouillon||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Seasoned breadcrumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Heat butter and garlic in skillet and brown lamb on all sides.
Mix with remaining ingredients except crumbs.
Spoon into a buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole.
Cover and bake in a 350° F.oven for 2 hours or until tender.
Remove cover and sprinkle top with crumbs in the last 15 minutes.
