Egg And Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Quick, easy and delicious breakfast casserole made with eggs and sausage!
  Sausage 1 Pound
  Bread slices 8 Small
  Eggs 8 Gram
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cheddar cheese 12 Ounce, shredded

1.Take bread pieces and cut off the crust and cut the bread into cubes.
2.In a skillet over medium heat brown the sausage and be sure to drain any excess grease.
3.In a mixing bowl blend eggs and milk.
4.Take a cooking dish and spray it with non stick cooking spray.

5.Place the bread cubes into the cooking dish.
6.Pour the sausage over the bread and on top of it pour the milk and egg mixture.
7.cover it with foil and place it in the refrigerator overnight

8.Next morning preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
9. Sprinkle the casserole with cheddar cheese and bake it in the oven for about an hour.
10.Take it out of the oven and the dish is ready to serve.

Hi Amy, how have you been? Is it advisable if I use parmesan cheese instead of the one you have suggested? I am afraid I won't get much of cheddar cheese here :)

I have not had a chance to experiment with this recipe much, but some other people have been writing me and telling me that they use all kinds of different cheeses for this casserole. This recipe makes a great base to add to... you can add veggies, different meats, cheeses, etc. The parmesan should work just fine. I think I will try that next time I make this! The very first time I saw this video I had made up my mind to try this out sometime soon, coz the ingredients you have used are all my favorites! :) Just wanted to tell you that I tried this casserole for breakfast yesterday and it came out great! I also tried a few veggies of my choice and the plate was licked clean! :) Thanks a lot for the recipe
