Braised Celery With Almonds
|All purpose flour||1 Tablespoon|
|Undiluted consomme||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Toasted slivered almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Thinly sliced celery stalks||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Saute celery in butter or margarine for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in flour, and salt and pepper.
Add consomme; cover and cook over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir in almonds.
Garnish with pimiento.
