Mixed Bean And Ham Casserole
|Onion||4 Ounce, minced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Tomato juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cooked and drained dried beans and peas||10 Ounce|
|Cooked ham/Pork||6 Ounce, diced|
|Water/Beef bouillon||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Brown sugar replacement||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
In uncovered flameproof oven-to-table casserole, cook onion and garlic in tomato juice, at high heat, until tomato juice is reduced by half.
Add remaining ingredients, bring to boil, stir gently then let simmer covered for 15 minutes or freeze: defrost; bake covered at 350Â° for 30 minutes before serving.
