Caramelized Bacon Cashews

This is a great appetizer for any party. Simple yet elegant bar food. Takes about 10 minutes to make and can store in fridge for up to a week.
Ingredients
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cashew nut 12 Ounce
  Salt 1 Pinch (to taste)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon, cold
  Bacon 2 Tablespoon, baked and crumbled (as needed)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a skillet, add the water, sugar and cashew nuts together.
2) Stir all the ingredients and allow to cook over a medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes until the cashew nuts are nicely coated and caramelized .
3) Stir in the bacon and transfer the mixture to a plastic try lined with wax paper and spread out evenly.
4) Refrigerate until the cashew nuts cools down to room temperature.

SERVING
5) Separate or break up the caramelized bacon cashews and serve.
