Cashew Drops

Ingredients
  Butter 4 Ounce, softened (1 stick)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Broken cashew nuts 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (raw)
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Beat in egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
2. Beat in flour mixed with baking powder, soda, and salt until dough is smooth, scraping side of bowl frequently with a rubber spatula. Fold in cashews. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cookies cool 2 minutes on sheets, then remove to racks and let cool completely. Store in a tightly covered container.
