Braised Carrots And Celery

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Carrots 6 Medium, cut into julienne strips
  Celery stalks 4 , cut into julienne strips
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  White wine/Vermouth 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan.
Add vegetables, wine, salt, and pepper, cover and cook over low heat 10 to 15 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Garnish with almonds, if desired.
