Marinated Carrots

Ingredients
  Pickling spices 1 Teaspoon (Mixed Pickling Spices)
  Cider vinegar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Carrots 4 Medium, scraped, cut into strips
Directions

Place pickling spices in a tea ball or cheesecloth bag.
Combine tea ball and remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender.
Remove carrot mixture from heat, pour into a shallow dish.
Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours.
Remove tea ball before serving.
