Carrots with Green Grapes
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Carrots||8 , scraped and cut in 2 inch strips|
|Seedless green grapes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Mint leaves||4 , chopped|
Melt butter or margarine in heavy pan, add carrots and turn over and over until well coated with butter or margarine.
Cover, and cook until almost tender, about 25 minutes.
Add grapes, honey and lemon juice, and cook slowly 10 minutes.
Add salt, and scatter with mint leaves just before serving.
