Glazed Carrots With Onion
|Carrots||2 Cup (32 tbs), pared and diagonally sliced|
|Onion||1 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Light golden brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Lightly Packed)|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1) Take a medium skillet or saucepan and cook the carrots partially for about 10 minutes in water in it.
2) Drain the excess liquid from carrots.
3) Mix in onion, sugar, butter and nutmeg and then simmer the mixture for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
4) Serve hot.
