Sunshine Carrots

Sunshine carrots are a great side dish. Serve them for dinner as a side dish. This dish liked by kids and adults together. Carrots compliment all the meat and vegetable meals alike.
Ingredients
  Carrots 5 Medium
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Orange juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1)Cut carrots in 1 inch thick slices.

MAKING
2)Take a saucepan and add carrots slices, salt and enough water.
3)Cover the pan and cook for about 20 minutes or until tender. Drain.
4)In a small saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and ginger and then add orange juice well.
5)Cook the mixture until thickened and bubbly. Continue to cook for 1 minute.
6)Add butter to the mixture and pour it hot carrots. Toss to coat evenly.

SERVING
7)Serve sunshine carrots hot with meal of your choice.
