Lemon Glazed Carrots
|Boiling water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1) Wash carrots pare them and cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
2) In a medium saucepan, palce the carrots with enough salted boiling water to cover.
3) Cover the pan and simmer for 15 minutes, or until tender.
5) In a heavy medium skillet, melt butter or margarine.
6) Stir in sugar; add lemon slices and carrots; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until carrots are glazed.
7) Serve the glazed carrots warm.
