Ingredients
  Carrots 2 Medium, bias sliced, 1/4 inch thick
  Carrots 2 Medium, bias sliced 1/4 inch thick
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Fresh pea pods/1/2 of a 6 ounce package frozen pea pods 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely shredded orange peel 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Orange juice 1⁄8 Cup (2 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1 In a 1-quart casserole cook the carrots in the water, covered, on 100% power (high) for 2 to 3 minutes or till crisp-tender.Add the pea pods.
2 Cook, covered, on high for 1 to 2 minutes or till the pea pods are crisp-tender.Let stand covered while preparing the orange sauce.
3 For the orange sauce, in a 1-cup measure combine orange peel, orange juice, and cornstarch.Stir in soy sauce.
4 Cook, uncovered, on high for 2 to 3 minutes or till thickened and bubbly, stirring every 30 seconds.Drain the carrot mixture.
5 Gently toss the orange sauce with carrot mixture.Cook, covered, on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute or till heated through.

SERVING
6 Serve as a side dish.
