1) Skin the carrots and cut them into slivers.
2) In a serving dish, keep the carrots warm after steaming them for 15 minutes.
3) In a sauce pan, over low heat, heat butter and cook flour in it for 2 minutes.
4) Beat in milk, broth and seasonings and then minimize heat.
5) Allow the sauce to simmer until smooth and then pour over the carrots.
6) Serve immediately.
