Shredded Carrot Relish
|Onion||1 Small, cut up|
|Green pepper||1 Small, cut up|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vinegar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place steel blade in work bowl; add onion and green pepper.
Process with on/off turns till finely chopped.
Transfer to mixing bowl; set aside.
Insert shredding disk; shred carrots.
Add to onion and pepper.
In saucepan combine remaining ingredients; bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
Pour through strainer over vegetables; discard whole cloves.
Stir vegetables to mix well.
Cover; chill overnight.
