Carrots Ole

Ingredients
  Bacon strip 4 , crumbled
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Shredded carrots 2 Cup (32 tbs) (4 Medium)
  Chopped chives/Green onion 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Fry bacon until crisp; drain thoroughly on paper towel.
In small saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil.
Add carrots, chives and bacon.
Simmer, covered, 10 to 12 minutes until tender.
Drain and serve.
