Lightly Glazed Carrots
|Carrots||6 Medium, sliced 1/4-in. thick (peeled)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Orange peel||1⁄2 Teaspoon, grated|
In 1 1/2-qt casserole combine carrots, water and salt.
Microwave at High 7 to 8 minutes, or until tender, stirring after half the cooking time.
In small bowl or 1 -cup measure combine remaining ingredients.
Microwave at High 45 to 60 seconds or until clear, thickened and bubbly, stirring once.
Pour glaze over and toss to coat.
