Orange Carrots

Ingredients
  Carrots 1 Pound (8 Medium Sized)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Pinch
  Boiling water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Grated orange peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Fresh Ones)
  Chopped green onion 1 Tablespoon
  Orange 1 , peeled and cut into bite size pieces
Directions

Scrape carrots and cut into 1/2-inch slices.
Cook covered in boiling water with salt and sugar until just tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
Drain and push to side of pan.
Add butter and heat until melted.
Toss carrots until they are well coated and shiny.
Add rest of ingredients and stir over low heat until heated through.
