|Chicken thighs||10 Large, boned|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Poultry seasoning||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried tarragon||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Commercial sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Yellow food coloring||6 Drop|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Wash and dry chicken pieces.
Place butter in a glass bowl.
Microwave at HIGH 30 seconds to soften.
Rub each chicken piece with the softened butter.
Combine salt, poultry seasoning, and garlic powder.
Sprinkle each piece with seasoning mixture.
Set aside for 10 minutes before cooking.
Preheat browning skillet according to manufacturer's directions.
Place chicken pieces in the preheated browning dish.
Cover with a paper towel.
Microwave at HIGH 2 1/2 minutes.
Turn chicken pieces over, and microwave at HIGH 2 1/2 minutes.
Sprinkle with tarragon.
Cover with glass lid.
Microwave at HIGH 5 to 7 minutes.
Place cooked chicken on serving platter suitable for microwave.
Cover with waxed paper.
Combine sour cream, food coloring, 1/2 cup pan drippings, and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
Spoon sauce evenly over chicken pieces.
Microwave at HIGH 30 seconds.
