|Carrots||8 , coarsely shredded|
|Soft bread crumbs||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Grated cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Hot milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Put carrots and bread crumbs in alternate layers in a shallow baking dish.
Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle top with cheese.
Add enough hot milk just to cover mixture to the top.
Bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 1 hour.
