Carrot Ring Mould
|Grated raw carrots||6 (About 2 1/2 Cups)|
|Grated nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Pepper white||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped pecans/Almonds/peanuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Minced green pepper||1 Tablespoon|
|Heavy cream/Evaporated milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon (Extra Butter For Mold)|
|Hot sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Beat the eggs, add carrots and seasonings, then milk, nuts.
Melt the butter and add.
Grease mold well with butter.
Pour mixture into the mold and set in oven in pan of water.
Bake at 325 degrees for about 35 minutes, or until firm.
Unmold carefully, garnish with parsley or sprigs of fresh mint leaves.
Fill with hot sauce.
