Holiday Carrots And Onions

Ingredients
  Carrots 1 Pound, halved lengthwise (About 8)
  Whole white onions 1 Pound (About 8 Small Pieces)
  Condensed cream of mushroom soup 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Paprika 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Toasted slivered almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Cut carrots in 3-inch pieces.
In covered saucepan, cook carrots and onions in water for 30 minutes or until tender.
Drain.
Stir in soup, 1/2 cup water, parsley, and paprika.
Heat; stir now and then.
Garnish with almonds.
