Holiday Carrots And Onions

|Carrots||1 Pound, halved lengthwise (About 8)|
|Whole white onions||1 Pound (About 8 Small Pieces)|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Toasted slivered almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cut carrots in 3-inch pieces.
In covered saucepan, cook carrots and onions in water for 30 minutes or until tender.
Stir in soup, 1/2 cup water, parsley, and paprika.
Heat; stir now and then.
Garnish with almonds.
