Microwave Glazed Carrots Apples And Peppers
|Carrot slices||2 Cup (32 tbs), cut diagonally (Thin Slices)|
|Diced green bell peppers||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Cut Into 1/2 Inch Pieces)|
|Thinly sliced apples||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Peeled Apples)|
|Light brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Combine carrots, bell peppers and water in 1-quart microwavable dish.
Cook, covered, on HIGH 3 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender; drain.
Gently toss apples with vegetable mixture.
In small mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon; cut in margarine.
Sprinkle over vegetable mixture.
Cover and microwave on HIGH 3 minutes.
Gently toss mixture to coat vegetables and apples with sauce; cook, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce thickens.
