Golden Glazed Carrots
|Chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Carrots||8 Medium, scraped and cut into fourths, crosswise|
|Canned consomme||10 1⁄2 Ounce, undiluted|
|Ground nutmeg||1 Dash|
Cook onion and parsley in butter or margarine for 5 minutes.
Add carrots, consomme, sugar, and nutmeg to onion-parsley mixture.
Cover and cook about 15 minutes.
Uncover and cook another 15 minutes or until carrots are tender and sauce is slightly thickened.
