Jamaican Style Bananas

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon (Mace)
  Fresh lime juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Bananas 4 , peeled
  Dark rum 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

1. Place butter in a 9-inch round glass baking dish. Microwave, uncovered, at Time Cook (power level 10) for 2 to 3 minutes, or until melted. Add brown sugar and nutmeg. Microwave, uncovered, at Time Cook (power level 10) for 3 minutes, or until bubbly, stirring every minute. Stir in lime juice. Microwave, uncovered, at Time Cook (power level 10) for 2 to 3 minutes, or until sauce looks slightly thickened, stirring every minute.
2. Place peeled bananas in sauce mixture. Cut in half lengthwise and turn in sauce to coat. Microwave, uncovered, at Time Cook (power level 7) for 5 to 6 minutes, or until bananas are soft and sauce is bubbly, turning the bananas. Pour rum into a 1-cud glass measure and microwave, uncovered, at Time Cook (power level 10) for 15 to 20 seconds,or until warm. Pour rum over hot bananas and ignite.
