Caribbean Turkey Burgers
|Dry bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped green onions||3 Tablespoon|
|Minced fresh parsley||3 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Caribbean jerk seasoning||1 Tablespoon|
|Lean ground turkey||1 1⁄4 Pound|
|Olive oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Whole wheat hamburger buns||4 , split|
|Mango||1 Medium, sliced (peeled)|
|Sweet red pepper rings||To Taste (1/4 inch thcik)|
In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble turkey over the mixture and mix just until combined. Shape into four 1/2-in.-thick patties.
In a large skillet, cook patties in oil over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until no longer pink. Serve on buns with lettuce, mango slices and red pepper rings.
