  Frozen beef fillet 1 Pound
  Cold pressed olive oil 4 Tablespoon
  Green pickled peppercorns 4 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon

Refrigerate the fillet of beef, covered, for 2 hours.
Then cut into paper-thin slices.
It is best to use an electric knife or cutting machine for this.
Arrange the meat on a platter in a circle, overlapping the slices.
Dribble the olive oil over.
Drain the peppercorns and sprinkle them over the meat with the salt and pepper.
Allow the meat to warm to room temperature for 10 more minutes.
Fresh French bread is a good complement to this dish.
