Cook the bacon in a little butter or oil until the bacon fat is running.
Add a knob of butter or a tablespoon of oil so that there is a decent amount of oil or fat in the bottom of the saucepan; keep this warm until the pasta is cooked, then remove from the heat.
Once the pasta is cooked, drain it in a colander and turn it into the saucepan with the bacon pieces.
Beat the eggs, tip them into the pan and quickly mix through using two forks to lift and turn the pasta.
Once it is coated with the egg and looks creamy, you should serve it immediately.
