Colorful Caramel Bites
|All-purpose flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs), divided|
|Quick cooking oats/Old fashioned||1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked|
|Firmly packed light brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), melted|
|M&m's milk chocolate candies||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs), divided|
|Chopped pecans||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), divided|
|Caramel ice cream topping||12 Ounce (1 Jar)|
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Combine 1 cup flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Blend in melted butter to form a crumbly mixture. Press half of the crumb mixture onto the bottom of a 9-by-9-inch baking pan; bake for 10 minutes.
3. Sprinkle with 1 cup M&M'S Candies and 1 cup pecans. Blend remaining 6 tablespoons flour with caramel topping; pour over top. Combine remaining crumb mixture, remaining 3/4 cup M&M'S Candies and remaining 1/2 cup pecans; sprinkle over caramel layer.
4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
