Caramel Peaches

  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Mace 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fresh peaches 6 , peeled
  Cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Melt butter in heavy frying pan.
Add sugar and mace and stir well.
Bring to simmering.
Add whole peaches and allow simmering about 30 minutes over low heat, turning peaches often and basting with sauce.
Be sure to keep heat low.
Place peaches in serving d
