Ingredients Used and Preparation of Pixie Stick Drink
Red Pixie Drink- The cocktail drink recipe recommends fixing the drink with equal parts of good quality pure melon liqueur and gin. A teaspoonful of 7 up is added to the blend.
The cocktail drink is prepared by first pouring the melon liqueur and then gin into a tall, slender and cylindrical glass such as the Collins glass. The 7 up is added to fill up the rest of the glass.
Blue Pixie Drink-Blue curacao is the essential ingredient of this drink and a simple version of the cocktail may be fixed with one more ingredient, the Goldschlager, which is cinnamon-flavored schnapps with gold flakes.
Another version of this drink can be prepared by mixing Crème de banane (banana liqueur), amaretto, coconut rum, vodka, pineapple juice, and sour mix. All the ingredients are shaken together in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and strained and then sprite, the soft drink, is added.
Serving Pixie Stick Drink
This delicious party beverage is decorated with a maraschino cherry after the drink is mixed in the glass. One can enjoy the pixie stick by sipping it with a straw.
