Tipsigs Or Bourbon Balls (Candy)
|Semisweet chocolate pieces||6 Ounce|
|White corn syrup||3 Tablespoon|
|Bourbon||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Crushed vanilla wafers||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped|
Melt semisweet chocolate over hot, not boiling, water.
Add corn syrup and bourbon.
Combine crushed wafers, powdered sugar and nuts.
Add to chocolate mixture and mix well.
Let stand 30 min.
Form 1" balls and roll in powdered or granulated sugar.
Let ripen in covered container at least several days.
The longer, the better.
Great for the holidays.
