Candy Orange Squares
|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs; beat well.
Combine flour, baking powder and orange slices; add to creamed mixture.
Add vanilla and 1 tablespoon water; stir well.
Stir in nuts; spread in greased and floured 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes.
Cut while warm.
