Lollipops

Ingredients
  Granulated sugar 1 Pound
  Water 1⁄4 Pint
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Glucose 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon flavor/Pineapple flavor 3 Drop
  Yellow food color 3 Drop
  Raspberry flavoring/Strawberry flavoring 3 Drop
  Red food color 3 Drop
  Almond flavoring/Lime flavoring 3 Drop
  Green food color 3 Drop
Directions

GETTING Ready
1 Lightly oil a slab.

MAKING
1 In a saucapan, put the sugar and water.
2 Stir, and heat gently until the sugar has dissolved.
3 Add in the glucose to the syrup and bring the mixture up to the boil.
4 Remove the syrup from the heat.
5 Divide it into three equal portions.
6 Tint each part a different colour.
7 Re-boil one third of the mixture, until the syrup will form a hard ball when a little is dropped into cold water.
8 Add 4-5 drops of suitable flavouring, and quickly drop spoonfuls on to the oiled slab.
9 Put a stick into each round and put a little more syrup on to fix firmly in place.
10 Allow to set hard.
11 When the lollipops are firm, carefully remove from the slab .
12 Re-oil the slab quickly for next batch.
13 Repeat the process with other 2 lots of syrup.
14 When all lollipops are ready, neatly wrap in Cellophane paper.

SERVING
15 Serve as desired.
