My idea of ending a perfect meal is with this Coconut Candy . Follow this quick and easy-to-follow recipe for Coconut Candy to top off your meal with an equally delicious dessert.
Ingredients
  Demerara sugar/White sugar 1 1⁄2 Pound (if white candy is preferred)
  Water 3⁄4 Pint
  Coconut 1 Medium
Directions

Remove the shell and rind from coconut and slice it thinly.
Dissolve the sugar in the water, boil to the "large ball" stage (247° F).
Remove pan from stove and grain the syrup by rubbing it with a spatula against the sides of the pan.
As soon as the mixture begins to grow cloudy, add the sliced coconut, stir until thick.
Pour into an oiled tin and when suffici- ently firm, mark into squares or oblongs.
When perfectly cold, divide into sections.
