Christmas Candy Molds

Ingredients
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Peppermint oil/Other flavoring oil 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Food coloring 3 Drop (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Nonstick vegetable cooking spray 1
Directions

In buttered 2-quart saucepan mix sugar, syrup, and 2/3 cup water.
Bring to boiling; stir constantly till sugar dissolves.
Cook to hard-crack stage or till candy thermometer registers 300° Remove from heat; add flavoring oil and coloring.
Cool to 200° Meanwhile, spray inside of plastic Christmas candle molds well with nonstick vegetable coating.
Using wooden spoon, push cooled syrup into molds.
Work fast.
Cool till firm.
Remove molds.
